Limited Warranty Policy for Massage Chair Products

All warranty services outlined herein are only applicable to One Life massage chairs purchased from an approved One Life supplier.

In-home service is only applicable for One Life products purchased for private use and is not valid for products purchased for commercial use.

The company, One Life, will provide warranty services against manufacturer defects for a period of 12 months (unless otherwise stated) from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase must be supplied by the customer before any warranty or service claim is raised. One Life staff cannot provide any purchase identification to customers.

Warranty services will only cover motorized, mechanical, electrical parts and labour.

Warranty services will not cover the following: wrong electrical supply, power surges, fabric or plastic material coverings, wear and tear through prolonged use.

Warranty services will not cover any damage caused from improper use or setup of the product, acts of nature including but not limited to floods or fire, or accidents that result in damage of the product.

1) WHAT THE LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS

Customers who reside within the following capital cities are covered by an in-home service warranty for a period of 12 months:

Melbourne (within 30km of CBD)
Sydney (within 30km of CBD)
Adelaide (within 20km of CBD)
Brisbane (within 20km of CBD) - Gold Coast (within 10km)
Perth (within 20km of CBD)

This coverage includes the cost of labour and replacement parts for the duration of your warranty.

The limited warranty does not cover the cost of a call-out fee for a product in which no fault can be found.

Customers who reside outside of the aforementioned areas must return their faulty product to a designated service centre for repair. The limited warranty does not cover the cost of transport, freight or postage. When the product has been repaired at the service centre, it will be sent back to the customer at the customer’s expense of transport, freight or postage.

The limited warranty does not cover the cost of product setup or installation.

2) TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LIMITED WARRANTY

By accepting the terms of the limited warranty, you agree to the following:

  • One Life reserves the right to refuse warranty service if in its opinion, it is found the product was not used according to instructions or was negligently misused.
  • One Life reserves the right to replace a faulty product with a similar product of similar functions. The substitute product will not exceed the value of the original product. If the substitute product offered is declined, One Life shall no longer be responsible for making repairs under the limited warranty.
  • The limited warranty may not be transferred to another person(s) at any time during the duration of the warranty.
  • An extended warranty program may only be purchased within 7 days of purchase of a brand new product.
  • An extended warranty program may not be purchased for a product that has previously undergone service or repair.
  • The limited warranty is void if the product is found to be modified, tampered with, or repaired by an unauthorised person.
  • The limited warranty is valid only within Australia.
  • One Life reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions of this warranty policy without further notification.


3) TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EXTENDED WARRANTY PROGRAMS

By purchasing an extended warranty in conjunction with a new product, the limited warranty period outlined in this document is extended to the specified timeframe. All other terms and conditions of the limited warranty apply to any extended warranty program.

The purchase of a 3 year extended warranty extends the total warranty period to 3 years. The product-inclusive 12 month warranty period is void (these warranties do not stack).

The terms and conditions of this warranty are governed under the laws of Australia and any applicable Australian laws, notwithstanding the rights of the customer as a consumer.

The limited warranty covers the cost of a replacement product of equal or lesser value in the event of a manufacturer’s fault or defect.

Customers must return their faulty product to a designated service centre for assessment. The limited warranty does not cover the cost of transport, freight or postage.

The product will be replaced with a new and operational product. It will be sent back to the customer at no expense.

The limited warranty does not cover the cost of product setup or installation.
